Information we collect
We collect information needed to provide and secure Yardlynx, including information you provide when you create an account, request support, manage a subscription, or communicate with us.
- Account information: name, email address, authentication details, organization or workspace information, and account preferences.
- Operational information: records, documents, inspections, work orders, assets, locations, and other information customers choose to store in a Yardlynx workspace.
- Technical information: device, browser, app, diagnostic, security, and usage information needed to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the service. Service telemetry may include the requested route, response status, timing, client version, a user ID when available, and derived network or user-agent values used for reliability and security review.
- Notifications: an app or device registration token, platform, and app version when push notifications are enabled.
- Assistant and research information: prompts, selected workspace context, responses, and related session or audit metadata when an optional Yardlynx assistant or research feature is enabled.
- Transaction information: subscription, billing, and payment status information. Payment details may be handled directly by payment providers.
How we use information
We use information to provide, maintain, and secure Yardlynx; authenticate users; keep customer workspaces separate; process subscriptions; respond to support requests; diagnose failures; improve reliability and usability; communicate about the service; and comply with legal obligations.
We use customer workspace information to provide the services and features configured by the customer. We do not use customer operational records to build advertising profiles.
Your choices and rights
You can review and update many account details from your Yardlynx account. Signed-in users can submit an access, correction, deletion, or appeal request from the privacy-request workflow in Account settings. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, subject to legal, security, and customer-workspace requirements.
Where an applicable privacy law provides a response deadline, we will respond without undue delay and within the period required by that law. For Delaware requests within the scope of the Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act, this generally means responding within 45 days, with a possible additional 45 days when reasonably necessary and explained to you. If we decline to act, we will provide the applicable reason and appeal instructions.
Workspace administrators control access to information stored in their organization’s workspace. If your information appears in a customer workspace, you may also need to contact that organization’s administrator.
Yardlynx does not sell personal information or use customer operational records for targeted advertising. We therefore do not currently offer a sale or targeted-advertising opt-out. If a future product or customer configuration changes that boundary, we will update this notice and implement any applicable opt-out and preference-signal requirements before enabling that processing.
You can opt out of non-essential promotional messages by following the instructions in the message. Service and security communications may still be sent when necessary to operate your account.
For a Delaware appeal within the scope of that law, we will provide a written appeal decision within the applicable period. If an appeal is denied, Delaware residents may contact the Delaware Department of Justice at its privacy complaint portal or privacy@delaware.gov.
Security and retention
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet customer and operational requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and comply with law. Retention periods may differ by information type and customer configuration.
Cookies and similar technologies
Yardlynx may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for sign-in, security, preferences, sessions, and service operation. We use limited reliability telemetry to understand service operation and security. Optional mobile diagnostics or crash reports are sent only after explicit consent; the mobile diagnostics endpoint is designed not to persist the submitted payload, while ordinary service and security logs may follow the retention controls described above. Browser settings can restrict cookies, but some Yardlynx functions may not work correctly without essential cookies.
Children’s privacy
Yardlynx is intended for business and workplace use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Yardlynx changes or as legal requirements develop. We will update the effective date when we make changes and will provide additional notice when required.
